PLAY
A little space for big imaginations
At Little Adventures, we believe children don’t need flashing lights, loud music or huge climbing frames to have an adventure.
Our play space has been thoughtfully created around Montessori-inspired, child-led play, giving little ones the freedom to explore, imagine, create and discover at their own pace.
And because we know that happy grown-ups matter too, we’ve created a space that feels just as welcoming for you - somewhere you can enjoy a coffee, watch your little one play and actually have a chance to breathe.

Play, their way
Our play space is designed to encourage:
🌿 Independence – opportunities for little ones to choose what they play with and develop skills at their own pace.
🧠 Curiosity – open-ended resources that encourage children to investigate, experiment and ask questions.
🎨 Imagination – pretend play, creative activities and carefully chosen toys that let their imaginations lead the way.
🤎 Confidence – a calm environment where children can try new things, make choices and learn through play.
👫 Social play – opportunities to play alongside others, share, communicate and develop friendships.
A calmer kind of play
We’re a little different from traditional soft play.
You won't find huge slides, ball pits or noisy electronic games here. Instead, you'll find a carefully considered collection of wooden toys, Montessori-inspired resources, role play, books, puzzles and open-ended activities.
Our space is designed to feel calm, cosy and homely, while still giving little ones plenty to discover.
We want children to leave having had a wonderful adventure and parents to leave feeling like they've had a lovely time too.
Who is Little Adventures for?
Our play sessions are primarily designed for babies, toddlers and children up to around 6 years old.
Our youngest visitors can enjoy our baby-friendly environment, while toddlers and pre-schoolers have plenty to explore.
Older siblings are welcome too, as long as they are kind, respectful and mindful of our younger adventurers.
